ECC_italy: We are very happy to share with you that artist Herbert Hundrich @hundrich, one of this year’s participants at #TimeSpaceExistence, has donated his artwork ‚The Ocean Begins Under Your Feet‘ to @venice.calls

As part of the exhibition, Herbert’s project invited us to reflect on the current situation of climate change, to be more mindful and respectful towards nature, especially water, and reminded us that climate change does not differentiate people by skin color, religion or ethnicity, rich or poor; rather it forces humanity to work together and requires contributions from everyone to make life in this world more liveable, more sustainable.Thank you! Hundrich: it was + still is a great pleasure for me to be part of this years exhibition @ ECC + my installation could find its place @ #venicecalls. In my first concept thoughts, 2019, I dedicated this light installation to the City of Venice because this extraordinary City will be + is already the first european City to be affected not only by the climate change but also by the enormous cruises and countless tourism. Accordingly I am pleased that my light installation „the ocean begins under your feet “ found its new home @ venicecalls, located at Convento dei Santi Cosma e Damiano – Archivio Luigi Nono Many thanks , dear ECC Team + Vittoria Mastrolilli for your support and also to Sebastiano Cognolato, Margherita Povolato and Vittorio Da Mosto from „Venice Calls“ It is a pleasure to have met you.
