THE PRESENT… lasts only three seconds.
What remains is memory. It fades over time, disappears — and if we’re lucky, it becomes one of the few that stay.

In my interpretation, the chair stands as a symbol of that memory: not as a place someone can sit, but as a form for what is missing — for absence, for what is no longer here and yet remains present.

There is much talk about responsibility, community, and everything that must not divide us. Yet the simplest, most essential thing — that which connects all life — is often overlooked. For all who live are immortal. At least in this one moment. Death does not distinguish — not by skin color, religion, height, wealth, or poverty. It distinguishes only between those who leave and those who remain.

What remains? Pain, memory — and the promise that one day everything will become lighter, easier, better. Perhaps so much so that one day we may smile about it, perhaps even laugh.

Three quotations — naturally taken out of context

“We will have to act when the circumstances require it — and we will act, whatever it takes.”
“We must think things from the end backwards.”
“Who can truly know what is good or bad?”

Tonight — here, now — I prefer the second sentence: We must think things from the end backwards.
Because the end is now. In this very moment.

And nothing will ever be the same again.
The present lasts only three seconds. What remains is memory — and the moment that follows the next. Sometimes it becomes a string of pearls, sometimes a Gordian knot, and if we’re lucky, a song. A melody that touches our hearts.

A perfect moment to turn toward music. My profound respect goes to the musicians: they don’t even have three seconds to decide on a single note — and yet from that, music emerges. Music that remains.

It is high time to speak about the only constant — and that is: now.
In this moment. The only instant in which everything is exactly as it was just a heartbeat ago.

Good morning, world.

I wish you a wonderful evening — one that will remain.
